The Best Overnight Berry Oats

Why I love overnight oats? Well, you wake up in the morning and you got yourself a cold bowl of yumminess that tastes like morning dessert waiting for you in the fridge. It’s super easy to make, it’s convenient, tasty and full of great nutrients. It’s the perfect way to start off your morning with the quick and healthy breakfast for the fuel you need.

The Best Berry Overnight Oats Recipe

Ingredients:

1/3 c old fashioned oats (uncooked)
1 TBSP chia seeds
1/4 c almond milk
1/4 c non-fat greek yogurt
1/4 c frozen berries* ( I like to add the berries in the morning)
1 TBSP Sunflower butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp stevia

Preparation:

1. In a bowl, combine all ingredients and stir. Leave overnight in the fridge. I like to top the oats with frozen berries and sunflower butter in the morning.

What will happen is the chia seeds will puff up throughout the night and absorb all of the liquids. If the texture is too thick for you, simply add more water or milk. What I like best about it is how much the texture compliments the tastes of the oats. Absolute perfection I tell you.
