Healthy Fish Tacos

Oh my goodness. Want to hear the real secret as to how I come up with my recipes? It starts with a craving then progresses with a light bulb. I basically use my creativity to toss things together and it ends up working out like magic. At least that’s what happened with these babies here. Banging!

tilapiataco2 Tilapia Taco

Ingredients:

1 tilapia fillet

8 romaine lettuce leaves

2 egg whites

1 tbsp non fat greek yogurt

2 tbsp salsa

cumin seasoning

chili powder

cilantro

garlic powder

squeeze of lime

 

Preparation:

1. Turn pan on med-hi heat and  spray with olive oil. Place tilapia onto the pan and allow it to cook fully. It should take about 4 minutes.

2.  Add egg whites and scramble with the cooked tilapia. Add a dash of cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, cilantro and a hint of lime.

3. Spoon the mix onto the romaine lettuce. Add salsa and greek yogurt on top to enjoy!

Super, super simple and easy to make. But the flavors in this dish is what gets me the most. My oh my, how much I love the skill of throwing things together. =D
