Sliced Apple Openface Sandwich Recipe
1 slice Ezeikel Sprouted Sesame Bread
1/4 c low fat cottage cheese
1 tsp Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Dreams
1 dash cinnamon
1 dash ginger powder
1. Pop a slice of Ezekiel bread in the toaster
2. Use a peeler to peel the skin of the apple. But don’t stop there, we are going to continue to use the peel to peel apple into thin slices.
3. Remove bread from toaster. Spread on Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Dreams or whatever nutbutter you prefer. You could even use a tbsp. =P Oh yes baby.
4. Add slices of apple. Add cottage cheese. Then dash on some cinnamon and ginger. ( I like the combination of two, you can try it for yourself )
You got your healthy fats, protein and complex carb. Perfect snack for mid day!
