Another high protein, healthy fat, no carb recipe your way! Now you may ask exactly how do we do this?

The answer? Flaxseeds. The health benefits of flaxseeds alone are phenomenal. It’s one of the top ranking foods for its health benefits such as omega-3’s, fiber and antioxidants. While it helps regulate and reduce blood pressure, it also protects our blood vessels from inflammatory damage. Because of its high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits, it also helps with prevention against hormone related cancers like breast and prostate. So what’s the main ingredient in our recipe today? You guessed it. And don’t worry about time, because it’ll take you literally two minutes to make.

Guilt Free No Carb Choco Cup Cakes
Recipe: 
2 tbsp flaxseed meal
1 egg or 2 egg whites 
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1 tbsp stevia
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp of Isopure Creamy Vanilla Protein Powder
1 tbsp Chocolate Hemp Protein Powder
1 tbsp non fat greek yogurt 
Preparation:
1. In a small bowl, combine flaxseed meal, baking powder, stevia, cinnamon. Mix evenly.
2. Whisk in eggs. Spray a small bowl or a muffin tin or a small microwavable cup with non stick spray and pour batter in. 
3. Microwave for 1 minute
4. In a separate bowl, combine vanilla and chocolate protein powder and mix in small small amounts of water until you have a thick icing like consistency. 
5. Remove muffin from microwave ( may be a bit slimy at first so let it cool down for about a minute) 
6. Spread the chocolate icing on top, then add greek yogurt and a dash of cinnamon to finish.

This only makes one serving so if you’d like more, just balance out the ingredients.

** Not shown in the picture but I also decided to add a few frozen blueberries on top too. So delicious! Tastes like I’m biting into an actually cup cake considering there’s no flour in this recipe.
