ALL YOU CAN EAT ….
Sunday I went to my an all-you-can-eat sushi lounge. The fish weas so so so so incredibly fresh and just melted in my mouth. I savored every bite of every piece of sushi. Sadly they did not have brown rice available so I gave in to white rice sushi . It’s alright every once in a while.
Throughout my fitness journey so far I found that allowing yourself to splurge on your favorite foods every once in a while is actually SUPER helpful towards you reaching your goal. Your metabolism is the rate at which your body burns calories. In order to maintain it, you feed it the same foods through out the days, the same amount of exercises and the same amount of calories.
Because you’re doing everything the same, your metabolism holds on to the repetition and starts to adapt to it. Therefore your metabolism increases and burns fat but there comes a point you may hit a plateau because your body is too used it.
That’s when you reset your metabolism by significantly increasing your calories which in turn will get you out of that plateau! Andddd well, that’s exactly what I did =D
