This morning I initially opened my eyes SUPER pumped to get a good workout going. Then I got up and ow! I am sore all over. This is probably due to yesterday’s intense workout plus dancing last night at the club.
I normally work out 7 days a week unless I’m going somewhere and absolutely can’t exercise. But I definitely need to give my body a break and have a real “rest” day. After all, I do need to rest in order for them muscles to grow. If you’re anything like me, I just really don’t like the feeling of going through a day without a workout. It’s just soo fun, relieving, and makes my body/mind feel amazing.
Listening to your body is important though, so today that’s what I’m going to do. I’ll stretch a lot and maybe do light yoga instead =)
